Located 40 minutes just outside of Saint John, our venue makes you feel as if you’ve been whisked away to a new world. From intimate elopements to magical celebrations with your favourite people, The Den is the perfect setting for an enchanting micro-wedding.

Where is The Minogin Den, and how do your guests actually get here?
Our venue is located on the Kingston Peninsula, just 40 minutes away from Saint John, at 1013 Route 845, Kingston, NB E5N 1K3. You can take a scenic drive to Kingston and remain on the main road until you reach La Belle Cabane.
Alternatively, one of our favourite ways to get here is by taking the Kingston Ferry.

How many guests can you have at a forest wedding here?
It depends!
We want to make sure you are surrounded by your loved ones in this day of celebration. Which is why we built a few wedding packages depending on how intimate you would like your special day:
- Fire: Our largest package, with a maximum of 35-50 guests
- Fawn: Your tight-knit circle of 10 guests
- Feather: Our elopement package, for just the couple and witnesses
What does a small wedding in New Brunswick actually cost?
Wedding packages at La Belle Cabane start at $2,500 CAD and range to $4,500 CAD + for 2027. More than simply a venue rental, our packages are designed to create an intimate forest wedding experience.
Depending on the package, your wedding can include access to The Minogin Den and our forest ceremony and gathering spaces, a private dressing lounge, on-site concierge, tables, chairs and benches, elegant tableware, service and display tables, an in-house speaker system, guest and ceremony amenities, parking, a honeymoon cabin stay for two, and a private three-hour Forest Thermal Spa experience and more.
Couples can also build on their celebration with additional cabins and spa experiences, beverage packages, our LBC Décor & Styling Collection, additional guests and hours, couple or group experiences, or an exclusive property buyout. Whether you’re planning a private elopement, an intimate wedding, or a full forest wedding weekend, La Belle Cabane offers the opportunity to turn your celebration into a getaway rather than simply a day.
When is the best time of year to get married in the forest?
Late spring brings fresh greenery, budding plants and the feeling of the forest coming back to life. It’s a beautiful time for an intimate wedding or elopement surrounded by softer colours and new growth.
Our personal favourite. The forest is at its fullest and greenest, creating a lush backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony, dinner and celebration. Summer also gives you the most opportunity to use the outdoor spaces throughout the day.
Fall weddings in The Minogin Den have an entirely different feel. Cooler temperatures and changing leaves bring warm oranges, golds and reds into the forest, creating a naturally beautiful backdrop without needing much décor.
Winter transforms La Belle Cabane into something quieter and more intimate. Snow-covered forest, cozy cabins and the warmth of the Forest Thermal Spa make it especially suited to small weddings, elopements and wedding getaways.
