Using a Gift Card
How wonderful! In our new system, you would have received a PDF with a code to directly book online. All you need is use the code (not as a discount code/promotional code but as “money” instead of choosing a credit card. If you received a gift certificate prior to May 2023 please check availability first and then email us when you’re ready to book and we will take it from there.
Spa Pods
We have 2! Each pod includes the same thermal experience components + access to the salt room. The only difference is that The Beaver Pod can accommodate up to 6 guests and the Bigfoot can accommodate up to 8 guests. Both pods are lovely and have their own charm. If you’re looking for a more intimate and cozy experience we recommend the Beaver and if you’d like a tad more space we recommend the Bigfoot.
Cabins
We have 5! In order from the parking lot – The Coyote, The Eagle, The Bear, The Elk and The Turtle. They all have their own special little touches. The Coyote/Turtle are single door cabins (cozier private feel) and the other 3 are double doors which provide a wider view on the main floor of the cabin (to outside). Both are wonderful depending on your preference and the season. Due to this, the inside layout is a little different but very similar. The outside of each cabin is different. The most private ones are The Eagle and The Bear. The other 3 are still very private but can be seen at a far distance from the main trail. The first cabin is a 2-3 minute walk up and the last cabin is around 10-15 minutes.
Each cabin is heated by a powerful woodstove (rated for 1,800 sq. ft. — plenty for our cozy 108 sq. ft. cabins!). That said, in very cold temperatures, we do not recommend booking if you’ve never used a woodstove before, as it requires regular tending and refilling every few hours to keep things warm and comfortable.
We will not leave you hanging! You can learn more about what the cabins include here and what the spa includes here. If you have any questions, please review the FAQs or email us at [email protected]. Once you complete your booking, you will receive the booking details via email and a digital welcome guide for the cabins as well.
Weather
We love being in the pods in all kinds of weather but of course, we want to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our covered areas include the dry sauna, steam sauna and salt room as well as the hot tubs that now have coverage under pergolas. Our open areas include the cold options, heated river bed and sitting area.
In the event of severe weather conditions (e.g., tornado, hurricane warnings, or power outages) leading to the closure of our business, we will reach out to reschedule your appointment. However, if our business remains open and you decide to miss your appointment, your reservation will be forfeited. Please note that we are unable to provide financial compensation in the event of temporary closures of saunas, or other facilities due to weather conditions, as they are beyond our control. These decisions are made to prioritize your safety.
Family Friendly
We are – with a couple notes. We do not allow guests under the age of 16 to attend the spa at this time. For the cabins, children are definitely welcome as long as you’re aware that there is only a double bed in the loft, and we do not provide any additional bedding. The hike up to the cabins can be difficult if you do not pack light so we recommend bringing the minimum, prepping food ahead with kids and bringing backpacks.
Open All Year
YES! We absolutely love our sanctuary in every season — and so do our guests! Experiencing the forest through all types of weather is part of the magic. Here are a few notes about our winter operations: Forest Spa: Our cold shower is closed during the winter months. The cold plunge generally remains open year-round; however, during extreme cold or unsafe conditions, it may be temporarily unavailable for guest safety
Access
The spa has its own parking lot (although you can park in our main parking if you have a cabin as well). You can follow the signs and the spa is a short walk away.
For the cabins, you will not be able to drive to the cabins. The cabins are only accessible by hike (uphill). Cabin 1 is about a 5 minute walk and it can take about 15 minutes to access Cabin 5 (depending on your speed/gear). Be prepared – bring your backpack and proper footwear!
What to Bring
We will not leave you hanging! You can learn more about what the cabins include here and what the spa includes here. If you have any questions, please review the FAQs first and then email us at [email protected]. Once you complete your booking, you will get the booking details via email and a handy welcome guide for the cabins as well.
Personal Body Products
We work very hard to take care of our forest and appreciate that everyone using the spa facilities (including bathrooms) use the designated products on site. We also ask that showers are used prior to accessing the hot tubs.
Spa & Pregnancy
We recommend consulting with your health care practitioner prior to attending our facilities.
Food & Drink in the Spa
We now provide charcuterie dunk boxes (i.e., a blend of meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, dips, etc.), tortilla chips and salsa, chips, popcorn, cookies, drinks and more! You can order these prior to arriving or at reception when you arrive. We also offer Indigenous Culinary Experiences that include soups, cookies, drinks, charcuterie and more. We understand that everyone eats differently and may have allergies, so you’re absolutely welcome to bring your own snacks or food to the spa. We simply ask that you tidy up afterward and use plastic cups or platters whenever possible.
As our spa is a sacred space, we do not allow any alcoholic drinks or drugs and do not have a liquor license (this includes our trails and common areas). You may want to consider beverages that are hydrating to accompany your session. Please note that in the Province of New Brunswick, liquor licenses are not required for glamping accommodations.

YES! We love packaging our favorites into flash offers. What does this mean? If you sign-up to join our exclusive VIP list (should link to subscriber sign up bottom of the page), you will be the first to hear about exclusive flash offers that we like to drop when the timing is right.
